Senior Director, Strategic Transformation, Value Enablement Office

The Value Enablement Office for ABS (Aon Business Services) ensures that ABS initiatives align with the company’s strategic objectives, coordinates, and manages the portfolio execution, ensuring the delivery of tangible business value including revenue growth, process optimization, realizable productivity and to ensure that our customers and colleagues achieve the maximum value from ABS capabilities and investments. This role collaborates with Solution Lines, global ABS capabilities including operations and product/platform/service teams, to define, prioritize and lead all aspects of value delivery.
We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Transformation to lead a variety of transformation programs across the business. This role can be hybrid based in any major Aon Office in the US.

What the day will look like
+ Drive sophisticated business / operational problems solving through relevant analytical approaches and customized solutions
+ Be the leader with vision and bring in innovative thinking to be at the forefront of solving problems / conceptualizing groundbreaking solutions
+ Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify transformation opportunities in technology, operations, and corporate functions
+ Lead development of strategic transformation plans, aligning technology, operations, and functional advancements with long-term business / functional goals
+ Communicate effectively with ABS senior leadership, conveying sophisticated information and progress reports in a clear and concise manner
+ Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
+ Lead a team of 3-5 colleagues – guiding the team members and helping them solve problems
+ Provide guidance and oversight to project teams involved in transformational projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered with measurable impact
+ Work collaboratively to navigate organizational shifts and secure leadership and team member agreement at all levels
+ Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards strategic goals and recommend adjustments as needed
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, or a related field and Prior experience working in a Strategy consulting firm - is strongly preferred
+ Proven experience (10+ years) in a strategic leadership role being responsible for transformation initiatives within a large corporate environment or a management consulting firm
+ Proven ability to develop and implement a comprehensive transformation vision that integrates technology, operations, and functional advancements
+ Strong exposure to hypotheses led approach
+ Experience leading team members is a must
+ Apply first principles thinking to solve unstructured problems
+ Ability to roll up the sleeves and do the work as needed
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
+ Quantitative & qualitative analysis in solving sophisticated organization problems (e.g., operating model design)
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate senior leaders and cross-functional teams
+ A decisive and results-oriented leader with a strong track record of delivering strategic objectives

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $225,000 to $275,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] [production incentives] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] [production incentives] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance.
