Job Description

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year

As a Senior Retail Media Director at Jellyfish, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic direction of our retail media offering. You will be responsible for driving high-impact client strategies, managing a portfolio of enterprise-level accounts, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our media practice. You'll partner closely with senior stakeholders—both internally and externally—to deliver best-in-class media solutions that accelerate growth for our clients.

In this role, you'll be expected to lead with vision, act as a trusted advisor, and scale operational excellence across teams and platforms. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded strategist with deep expertise in retail media, exceptional client leadership skills, and a strong background in mentoring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight across a large portfolio of global, enterprise retail media accounts, ensuring excellence in performance, innovation, and client satisfaction.Serve as a senior advisor to C-level and VP stakeholders, translating complex business goals into actionable, data-led media strategies.Drive full-funnel retail media strategies using advanced analytics and tools such as Amazon Marketing Cloud, DSP platforms, and third-party tech (Skai, Pacvue).Lead the integration of cross-disciplinary efforts (e.g., analytics, creative, performance media) to deliver seamless and scalable solutions.Own and evolve strategic planning processes, developing long-term roadmaps that drive client retention and revenue growth.Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing leadership to pitch new business, define value propositions, and expand the agency's presence in the market.Champion internal knowledge-sharing, process development, and innovation to enhance team capabilities and operational effectiveness.Lead, mentor, and grow a team of retail media specialists and managers, fostering a high-performance, feedback-driven culture.

Qualifications7+ years of experience in digital advertising or performance marketing, with a strong focus on retail media strategy and execution.Proven ability to lead and grow large client portfolios within complex retail environments (e.g., Amazon, Walmart Connect, Instacart).Advanced knowledge of retail media ecosystems, including Sponsored Ads, DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and third-party bid management platforms (e.g., Skai, Pacvue).Strong understanding of both Vendor Central and Seller Central platforms.Experience advising senior-level client stakeholders and driving long-term partnerships through strategic leadership.Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and mentoring talent.Proficiency in media forecasting, budget planning, and performance analysis.Advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities, with the ability to derive strategic insights from complex datasets.Strong grasp of the retail and eCommerce landscape, with an eye on emerging consumer and media trends.
