**Your new role**
You will lead the global RWE & Epidemiology team and chair Lundbeck’s Observational Research Committee, ensuring scientific rigor across all real-world studies. This is a unique opportunity to shape how real-world data and epidemiological insights inform clinical development, regulatory strategy, and post-approval commercial success across our portfolio. You will work alongside dedicated colleagues in the Global Evidence & Outcomes (GEO) team and collaborate closely with peers across Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical, and Access functions. In your new position, you will play a key role in strengthening the vision of RWE & Epidemiology as a strategic pillar of GEO. The RWE & Epidemiology team is part of the Global Evidence & Outcomes organization within Global Clinical Development. The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
**What you bring to the team**
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong background in real-world evidence and epidemiology, along with the ability to lead strategically across a global organization. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
We envision that you have:
+ Solid experience (8-10 years) in designing and delivering real-world evidence and epidemiological studies in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
+ A strong understanding of how RWE can support clinical development, regulatory strategy, and launch preparation
+ Proven leadership skills (3+ years), including team development and cross-functional collaboration
+ The ability to influence, drive alignment, and deliver results in a global matrix organization
An advanced degree (PhD) in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, or a related field is required.
