What you'll be doing
The Senior Director, Personal Investing Products has ownership for the asset management product portfolio in Personal Banking, working collaboratively with the GAM (Global Asset Management) organization. In partnership with GAM, this role would be accountable for pricing, product development, acquisition and retention campaign and offers to maximize account, balance, revenue, and profit growth. The Senior Director has full accountability over the end to end brand and client experience for our top retail suite of products.

How you’ll succeed
Portfolio growth - Drive profitable AUM, client franchising, product penetration and revenue growth of the Personal Investing Products portfolio in collaboration with GAM and with consideration of other savings and investing products (e.g., Savings, MLGICs, GICs)
Collaboration – Collaborate with key partners to deliver new investment and advice solutions and drive new revenue pools (e.g., monetize advice), improve wealth product penetration, reach new clients, and optimize across multiple sales channels (e.g., banking centers, digital, mobile sales force, wealth)
Strategic planning – Create and own the annual and multi-year strategic and financial planning processes for the investment offerings portfolio including: CIBC Smart Investment Solutions, CIBC Personal Portfolio Services, CIBC Mutual Funds and CIBC Managed Portfolio Services, CIBC Fixed Income Pools, CIBC Exchange Traded Funds, Renaissance Investments.
Optimization and enhancement - Assess sales channel performance and put strategies and tactics in place to optimize results. Assess current state campaign performance and work with key partners to enhance (e.g., Analytics, Modeling, Marketing, Front Line)
Pricing strategy & guidelines – Partner with GAM, establish overall pricing strategy for this portfolio and ensure pricing guidelines are in place for all products in the portfolio.
Market and campaign performance – Leverage market and competitive environment intelligence. Including consumer, technology, competition, and government/regulatory agencies, to develop strategies and make recommendations to protect and grow the portfolio and evolve products, pricing, and experiences.
Who you are
You have a Bachelors / Master’s degree in business related field with preferred experience in strategy, strategic planning, or analytics (e.g., MBA, CFA, CA, CMA)
You can demonstrate extensive experience in business related functions, strategic planning, analytics, financial modeling, product and people management, finance, executive presentations, and Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
You have comprehensive knowledge of investment products and asset management
You have a proven ability to think strategically, plan, problem solve, analyze financials, build relationships, and influence business outcomes
