Job DescriptionReporting to VP of Paid Media you will create impact within our Paid Media team .We are looking for a Senior Paid Media Director to lead and elevate our Paid Media capabilities across the Australia market. This high-impact role will serve as the market lead and strategic visionary for Paid Media in Australia, directly contributing to our growth and success in the region.
As a senior leader within our APAC team, you will oversee a growing team of Paid Media specialists, drive innovation in digital strategy, and foster a high-performance culture focused on excellence, collaboration, and transformation.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. People Management & LeadershipLead, inspire, and develop a team of 5-10+ local and international Paid Media professionals, with plans to grow.Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and high-achieving work environment.Provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, and career development support.Conduct performance reviews and develop individual growth plans.2. Strategic DirectionDefine and execute the strategic vision for Paid Media in Australia.Align market goals with Jellyfish's global and regional Paid Media strategy.Implement best-in-class processes for campaign management, client service, and team operations.Oversee workload management and ensure optimal resource allocation.Stay at the forefront of Paid Media trends and lead innovation within the capability.3. Client & Partner Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.Collaborate seamlessly with other Jellyfish capabilities and global teams.Act as a strategic advisor, identifying and addressing client needs proactively.4. Performance & ReportingTrack and report team performance against key KPIs and client objectives.Deliver insightful reports and recommendations to APAC leadership.Identify and implement opportunities to optimise campaign strategy and ROI.Qualifications10 to 12+ years of experience in Paid Media Advertising, ideally within an agency setting.Proven success in leading and scaling digital marketing teams in dynamic, agile environments.Demonstrated experience in matrix organisations with cross-market collaboration.Expertise across major digital marketing and advertising platforms and channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic Display and Video, and Retail Media.Expertise in Google Marketing Platform tools, including:Search Ads 360Display & Video 360Campaign Manager 360Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into executable plans.Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Exceptional organisational, analytical, and prioritisation abilities.
