Functions as a senior Nursing Leader within the Hospital, partnering with Medical Group, Ambulatory Services, and Service line Leadership. Directs and oversees the efficient and effective nursing operations across multiple markets. Leads, directs and manages teams with accountability for clinical operations, quality/safety, education, and regulatory compliance within the Hospital division. Coordinates development, marketing, and strategic planning of new and existing patient care services across the Hospital division that support Sentara’s purpose, values, and strategic initiatives. Responsible for design, implementation, and performance of nursing services across all markets. Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration at the system, division, and practice level. Accountable for clinical education, quality, and safety programs across the Hospital division. Identifies nursing and other clinical workflow optimization opportunities across all specialties. Serves as Nursing Leader representing Hospital Services at the market level.

BSN (Required)
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
Registered Nurse, single state NC or multi state/compact license required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$130,894.40-$243,110.40. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
