Job Description

You will be accountable for leading a team to manage merchant relationships across a range of sectors identifying merchant needs to deliver growth of new business to deliver revenue and scorecard targets for your merchant sectors.

Understanding the market and client sector needs and develop a client centric sales strategy to deliver new sales and grow revenueLead relationships with cross functional teams to develop cross functional client & product plans to ensure delivery of  team plans, revenue growth and market strategyLead thought leadership and client engagement strategy, bringing client & market insight to support development of new initiatives   Develop and deliver the XB Merchant strategyAccountable for developing client relationships with senior executives (up to C Suite) to identify and deliver new solutions to deliver business growthLead contract negotiationsFoster and engender a high performing, client-centric team.Contribute to the overall UK and Ireland Market Strategy as a key member of the MS&A teamManage Risk &Regulatory requirements

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications

15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experienceExperience of leading and developing a high performing teamExtensive sales and relationship management experienceExperience of the payments business a passion for Fintech and in particular paymentsStrong experience in working alongside merchant sectorsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders up to C- Suite Executive level to drive new business growthAbility to develop and deliver a client sector strategy to deepen the relationship with clients and to drive growth and revenue and thought leadershipProven influencing, selling and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and in collaboration with high level of achievement
