Job DescriptionWhat a Senior Director, Head of Finance does at Visa:
Serve as a member of the senior leadership team for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific markets (AUNZSP) and be their focal point for all finance-related matters.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a high standard of financial discipline, controls, decision support, and accountability within the geography.
Be a key advisor and thought partner to the Group Country Manager and Country Manager to facilitate delivery of the short-term financial targets as well as long-term growth targets.
Provide strong financial thought leadership as it relates to growth strategies, current performance, business case analysis of client incentive deals, sales, marketing and product initiatives, as well as pricing proposals.

There are 3 key markets/sub-region in AUNZSP, namely Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, all with growth opportunities linked to the evolution of payment innovation and technology despite maturity in the payment industry.
This role is a key business partner to the Group Country Manager, AUNZSP. He/she will play a critical role as a member of AUNZSP leadership team in managing the business activities across these key markets to deliver the financial targets and the strategic development of future growth opportunities. This position will be the focal point of contact for senior management on finance- related matters in the geography and will oversee all areas of Finance including FP&A, the Controller, Sourcing, etc.
This is the most senior finance position in the AUNZSP cluster and will have influence/decision authority over FTEs, expenses, client incentives and revenue waiver.

The job holder should be a college graduate, business degree preferred, with 10 years of FP&A experience with a recognized, performance-driven multi-national company:
At least 15 years of commercial finance, controllers and/or auditing experienceProven commercial and analytical experience, including FP&A roles in a business unit within a global organizationPrior experience successfully communicating with, influencing and presenting to senior-level executivesDemonstrated ability to deliver on multiple initiatives with tight timelinesPossess good knowledge of financial controls and procedures to safeguard the assets of the company and ensure local compliance.International experience ideally within a complex, matrix management organizationAbility to attract, develop and retain top talent.
