dsm-firmenich’s Taste, Texture & Health (TTH) Division Ingredient Solutions is a leading global supplier of food enzymes, cultures, taste and health ingredients, and other specialties for many of the world’s most iconic dairy, baking, beverage, and savory brands.
We are currently looking for a (Senior) Director, Global Sales, Baking & Confectionery to join our team in Delft.
In this high-impact role, you will develop and implement the global sales strategy in close collaboration with our regional teams and the Key Global Accounts (KGA) organization. You’ll be responsible for executing targeted sales activities that directly support our segment strategy, ensuring a strong and sustainable sales pipeline, driving conversion, and monitoring execution of plans to meet and exceed commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement global sales strategy in collaboration with regional and KGA teams, driving pipeline execution and conversion to achieve commercial objectives.Own pricing and volume targets for the existing product portfolio.Deploy and execute the introduction of new products across regions.Set and maintain global and regional sales budgets while overseeing the outlook process and ensuring accurate regional forecasting.Provide market insights and customer feedback to the Marketing/Future Growth team to support strategic decision-making in business strategy, portfolio management, and market development.

You Bring
A master’s degree or equivalent level based on work experience.> 10 years of experience in a Commercial, Business, or Sales leadership role in a B2B environment; hands-on Sales experience is required.Several years of experience in the Food industry, ideally in Bakery & Confectionery.Strong customer-centric attitude with excellent networking and influencing skills.Solid understanding of consumer and customer insights in the field of functional ingredients, with a focus on offering and selling complex, often customized solutions.Proven experience of being successful in a matrix organization.
