Senior Director, Functions Communications

Job Overview:

As the Senior Director, Corporate Functions Communications, you will lead and execute strategic internal communications initiatives which support JLL's global Corporate Functions. You will provide partnership to senior functional leaders, develop and lead delivery of creative communications strategies and plans, and manage the execution of communications to JLL colleagues across the globe. Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications, this is a leadership role within JLL’s Internal Communications centre of Excellence.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and planning – Develop and execute creative internal communications strategies and plans which support the delivery of functional strategies, and are aligned to the JLL enterprise internal communications strategy.Business partnering – Act as a trusted advisor to senior functions leaders, providing communications expertise, advice and issues management.Communications delivery – Manage the delivery of impactful communications, using a range of tactics and channels, which connect with global colleague audiences.Stakeholder management and collaboration - work in partnership with the Global PR team to ensure internal and external functions communications are fully aligned. Build strong relationships with other business line and geographical communications teams – to ensure alignment of messaging, activity and execution.Issues management – ensure clear and effective communication is delivered during times of urgency or sensitive situations.Measurement – monitor and evaluate the impact of communication initiatives through measurement and analysis. Produce regular reporting to demonstrate the effectiveness of the communication and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Leadership – Lead a small team of communications experts -- building capability, providing direction, coaching and developmentTransformation – support wider enterprise programs to transform internal communications impact and effectiveness across JLL.

To apply you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with at least 15 years of similar experienceProven experience in similar global internal communications roles, preferably within a professional services or real estate organizationExcellent stakeholder management skills, and able to build credible trusted relationships with senior leadersExperience in developing and executing creative internal communications strategies which support the delivery of business outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide the appropriate communications solutionsExcellent communications delivery skills – including planning, writing and editing – comfortable delivering both individually and through others. Able to turn technical subjects into simple and engaging communications.Experience of building, leading and managing high performing global teamsExperience in managing communication during times of change, including organizational restructures and culture transformation initiatives.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

160,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
