Finance Director

We are currently seeking an exceptional, strategic financial leader to serve as Finance Director for our Leasing Advisory Finance team. As Finance Director, you will drive financial excellence across the organization while partnering with business leadership to shape and execute our corporate strategy and vision. The Finance Director role is primarily responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and accounting related functions for our Leasing Advisory business line and supports multiple markets across the Northeast.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Lead the preparation, management, consolidation, and delivery of the annual financial plan and monthly reforecasts.Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to Business Unit Executives, Product Line owners, and corporate leadership.Drive proactive, data-informed decision-making across all stakeholder groups.Develop financial insights that shape corporate strategy and identify growth opportunities.Establish, document, and optimize financial policies and procedures that balance efficiency with control requirements.Ensure compliance and proper accounting treatment for all transaction deals.Oversee the integrity of all financial processes within your scope of responsibility.

Performance Management & Reporting

Lead the preparation of comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership.Create and deliver sophisticated analysis and dashboard reporting for corporate leadership.Produce and analyze monthly/quarterly financial variance reports with actionable insights.Develop pipeline reporting and key performance metrics for business and product lines.Oversee all fiscal reporting activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and strategic relevance.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.Create and execute succession planning and professional development programs.Participate in compensation planning to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Revenue & Working Capital Optimization

Establish and achieve accounts receivable objectives and metrics.Optimize working capital while supporting business growth initiatives.

Qualifications

15+ years progressive financial leadership experienceBachelor’s, degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CFA preferred.Proven track record of leading financial strategy and operationsOutstanding business partnership skills with experience advising business unit executives.Experience leading high-performing teams through periods of growth and change.Superior analytical capabilities and financial modelling expertiseExceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts.Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to drive business results.

Please note - the below range is an estimated base salary. This role will also include a target bonus of 25%.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

190,000.00 – 235,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
