This is your chance to be part of our Hotel Operations team that oversees the daily functions of our Americas managed hotel portfolio! As the Senior Director, Engineering Operations Americas, you will support the team in ensuring our guests receive a world-class hospitality experience and that we remain a leader in our industry.
What will I be doing?
As the leader of the Engineering Operations Americas team, you will improve guest satisfaction through room quality, preventative maintenance, and strategic asset management. Core responsibilities include overseeing CapEx execution, ensuring life safety compliance, and protecting physical assets. This position reports into the SVP, Operations, New Openings Americas.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Provide strategic engineering leadership and operational oversight across Hilton's managed hotel portfolio in the Americas, ensuring facility performance and compliance.Lead the development of engineering standards, sustainability initiatives, and capital planning strategies to enhance asset value and guest experience.Conduct comprehensive property inspections to ensure they are meeting standards; provide performance reviews delivering actionable insights and improvement across all engineering operations.How you will collaborate with others:
Be an advisor to Area Vice Presidents of Operations, supporting regional goals and aligning engineering initiatives with broader business objectives.Engage with national vendors, suppliers, and external consultants to increase service delivery and cost efficiency.You will lead a team of 4 direct reportsWhat initiatives you will take ownership of:
Lead enterprise-wide engineering initiatives including customer experience initiatives, sustainability programs, emergency response protocols, and new property openings.Oversee the development of training programs for property operations teams.Support Customer Promise goals in becoming the #1 Best Place to stay.Lead national contract negotiations, managing energy procurement and sustainability initiatives.What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Ten (10) years of progressive engineering leadership experience in hospitality or related industries.Five (5) years of experience managing engineering operations for large-scale properties and providing regional, multi-unit oversight and support.At least 5 years of experience leading teams.Willing to travel up to 50% across the Americas region.It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Experience managing engineering operations for properties of 1,000+ roomsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or advanced certifications in facilities management, sustainability, or engineering disciplines.What is it like working for Hilton?
