Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job DescriptionAbout Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships (PD&P) is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels.
The Senior Director, Distribution Partner Development will serve as a growth catalyst within NBCUniversal’s Platform Distribution & Partnerships Team. This leader will be accountable for turning partnerships into measurable business growth by scrutinizing live deals, maximizing marketing performance, and applying a rigorous test-and-learn approach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a high-performing team fostering a culture of growth accountability and rapid iteration. Strategically drive partnership health; leveraging insights, surface risks early, and identify untapped opportunities to hit business goals and deliver on overall partner value.Evaluate ongoing performance (e.g., audit marketing tactics) to ensure activity translates into measurable acquisition, engagement, retention and brand value.Run continuous testing with both qualitative (partner feedback, consumer insights) and quant (campaign data, funnel metrics, attribution) inputs to refine and scale performance.Work hand-in-hand with partner marketers, executive team, deal leads/partner managers, growth, financial and analytics teams to optimize campaigns and execute performance strategies.Proactively spot new growth levers across partners, fueled by competitive benchmarks, industry trends, and audience insights.Apply balance-of-trade analysis (cost, revenue, terms) to ensure optimized, mutually beneficial relationships.Support senior-level partner conversations and distribution renewals with a clear growth and performance lens.Deliver concise, actionable insights to executives, connecting day-to-day performance to long-term partner strategy.Qualifications10+ years in partnership development, growth, business development, strategy or partner marketing within media, technology, or subscription-driven industries.Proven track record of driving measurable partner growth through deal management, marketing optimization, and performance testing.Strong analytical acumen with expertise in building and leveraging performance dashboards.Exceptional people leadership skills and experience guiding cross-functional, analytical teams.Excellent communication and influencing ability with executive stakeholders.Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $150,000 - $210,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
