With their expertise in Data, Media and Technology the Senior Director will shape the future US Digital Strategy and position Gilead as an industry leader. This role leads the vision and oversight of advanced digital initiatives, transforming how we target and personalize audience experiences. The Senior Director collaborates with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, IT, Data, Global) to align on and execute the digital strategy and engagement program. Responsibilities include overseeing digital marketing technology strategy, securing resources, and presenting progress to leadership. The role is accountable for planning, execution, and optimization, enhancing strategies through data-driven insights. **_Office Location: Parsippany, NJ or Foster City, CA_** **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop, lead, and own the end-to-end US digital strategy and roadmap. + Lead the company-wide audience engagement program, program management oversight. + Design and champion a bold vision for the digital strategies grounded in CX principles. + Drive and own the innovation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies (AI, ML, predictive analytics) for audience engagement. + Architect a forward-thinking, agile engagement model. + Spearhead adoption of programs across teams through strategic communication, training, and change management initiatives. + Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align on digital initiatives. + Oversee data and technology integration for digital programs. + Define program goals, KPIs, budgets, and risk mitigation. + Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership. + Monitor performance, optimize programs, and identify improvement areas. + Analyze digital trends and opportunities for innovation. + Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and leverage the governance platform to bring initiatives through. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree and Fourteen Years’ Experience, OR + Masters' Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience, OR + PhD and Twelve Years’ Experience + 12+ years in digital strategy and implementation within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proven success leading complex, company-wide audience engagement programs. + Deep expertise in omnichannel strategies and digital engagement technologies. + Strong understanding of data integration and digital analytics in pharma. + Exceptional program management, communication, and influencing skills. + Strategic thinker with business acumen and an audience-centric approach. + Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and drive change. + Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations (HIPAA, GDPR). The salary range for this position is: $221,000.00 - $286,000.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
