Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Marketing Technology and Automation)
This position is based in our Bucharest location. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to play a crucial role in driving marketing automation and lead management initiatives. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Marketo platform to support our marketing campaigns and generate high-quality leads. Your expertise in Marketo will enable you to develop and execute effective marketing automation strategies, ensuring seamless integration with other marketing tools and systems. In this role, you will impact our marketing operations by leveraging Marketo to drive lead generation, nurture campaigns, and customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing automation campaigns, analyze campaign performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies supporting marketing effectiveness and efficiency through data-driven insights and optimization. + Serve as the Marketo platform owner – managing system architecture, templates, tokens, smart campaigns, and overall campaign operations. + Oversee and maintain key marketing automation integrations involving Marketo, ensuring reliable data flow and alignment with Salesforce, iCapture, Demandbase, and other connected platforms. + Own data quality, database segmentation, and compliance with global email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). + Build scalable processes, workflows, and documentation to improve campaign speed and consistency across regions and functions. + Support audience segmentation and list management for campaigns, leveraging tools like Salesforce and deduplication tools to ensure targeting accuracy and data quality. + Lead execution of global outbound and nurture email programs to drive engagement and pipeline progression. + Collaborate with campaign and content teams to create relevant, segmented journeys aligned to buyer personas and lifecycle stages. + Build, manage, and optimize email cadences for new leads, active opportunities, and post-sale communications. + Execute testing strategies (e.g., A/B testing of subject lines, CTAs, personalization) to drive continuous improvement in performance. + Partner with creative, digital, and customer marketers to ensure cohesive execution across campaigns and touchpoints. + Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to align on data flow, campaign infrastructure, and shared martech objectives, providing added agility and stakeholder coverage. **MUST HAVE** + Ability to partner across technical and strategic marketing functions, including campaign ops, reporting, and martech integration management + Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing automation, with a focus on Marketo, email marketing, or demand generation + Strong knowledge of Marketo platform and its capabilities, along with Salesforce CRM + Proficiency in developing and executing marketing automation campaigns across multiple regions and buying stages + Experience in lead management and nurturing programs + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Strong communication and collaboration skills **WE VALUE** + An bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field. + Marketo certified with deep platform knowledge and hands on experience managing global programs + Corporate and agency leadership experience. + Excellent business writing and editing skills. + Outstanding organizational and project planning skills. + Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and across global cultures. + Strong project management skills.
