The BMO GAM Digital Journey team is seeking a digital consultant to support journey optimization and user experience for advisors and investors. The ideal candidate is resourceful and curious with strong digital literacy and attention to detail. Knowledge of financial services, investments, and asset management is required.

Responsibilities:

Consult with stakeholders to gather digital requirements to support strategic digital projectsAnalyze customer journeys across digital platforms, identify pain points, and develop strategies to improve themCreate and execute on weekly email newsletters and ad hoc email campaignsSupport research activities for user testing and usability studiesCollaborate with various departments (marketing, product, technology) to align digital customer experience strategies and communicate value to senior management.Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders to advocate for digital best practices (AODA, SEO, brand, human centred design)Ensure that BMO GAM brand standards and digital content guidelines are consistently met by applying standards and knowledge of contextual information.Review and organize content to ensure appropriate placement, categorization, and design.Exercise good judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within a given ruleset.Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Skills / Experience:

Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent report creation and presentation skillsProficient with digital analytics and tools (Adobe Analytics, Google analytics, PowerBi)Proficient with business software (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, WorkFront)Proficient with email deployment across multiple segments and campaign measurement (Pardot, SalesForce Lightning, Exact Target, RIVA, Seismic)Working knowledge of web design, webpage structure, and content management (HTML, CSS, Contentful, Bynder)Working knowledge of current best practices for digital marketing (SEO, SEM, AODA, CASL)Working knowledge of digital design systems and responsive designFamiliar with the development/publishing life cycle

Qualifications

5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Education or experience with asset management is required (IFIC, CSC etc)Experience with project management, prioritization, and organization of informationExpertise in visual design and interaction design.Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.Experience working within a financial services or financial technology organizationAbility to adapt to change and embrace new techniques and technologyComfortable working in a regulated industry with regular compliance reviewsFluent with current trends in digital innovation in the marketing and communications space

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
