Senior Digital Infrastructure Architect
**CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Technical Architect opening for our client in Abilene, TX.** **Location:** Preference is Texas based resource - occasional travel onsite to Abilene but can be anywhere **Duration:** 2 months, with possibility for extension **Duties:** + Lead the design, implementation, and remediation of enterprise-grade digital workplace and infrastructure solutions. + Architect and manage Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Tenant configurations, and Azure Active Directory, with a focus on security and compliance. + Implement and optimize identity and access management solutions. + Architect, upgrade, patch, and tune Windows Server environments (on-prem and hybrid). + Design and configure enterprise networks using Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, and FirePower technologies. + Troubleshoot and optimize LAN/WAN and remote access network performance. + Design and manage NAS and SAN storage solutions, preferably Synology NAS, ensuring data availability, backup, and recovery strategies. + Collaborate cross-functionally with cloud, security, and application teams. + Provide on-site support and project delivery as needed (up to 25% travel). **Skills:** + Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server administration, and Cisco networking technologies. + Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations. + Proficiency in NAS/SAN storage solutions. + Ability to develop and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies. + Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. **Experience:** + 7+ years in IT infrastructure, focusing on M365, Windows Server, and Cisco networking. + Proven experience designing and remediating enterprise M365 environments. + Hands-on experience in enterprise network design, configuration, and security. + Experience with enterprise-grade NAS/SAN storage systems. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. + Relevant certifications preferred: + Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert + Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist + Synology Certified Engineer (SCE) or equivalent + CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (security-focused candidates) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
