We believe that focusing on performance and results has the power to transform client business **Overview** As a Senior Creative you will help lead our passionate, multi-talented studio guiding more junior members to deliver and encourage exceptional, integrated concepts to exceed client briefs and expectations. A Senior Digital Designer is an important contact point in our agency, so they can expect to be craft-led, strategically driven, and platform neutral conceptual thinkers with a desire to transform brands by creating beautiful, intuitive, and human- centred products and experiences. You will be tuned into all aspects of South African popular culture and the platforms and media it plays in, as well as have a strong point of view on what it takes to win in this space, with the experience to back it up. **Responsibilities** **Duties include, but not limited to:** **What you’ll do everyday** • Be able to review design work on certain brands, when the Creative Director is unable to, or when requested by the CD. • Designing and optimising campaign creative for media channels that are mindful of retargeting objectives across verticals, such as SEM, display advertising, social media, affiliate marketing, content discovery platforms, and CRM etc. • Scope, plan & manage the creative process on projects • Manage & mentor the creative team • Work with other disciplines (Strategists, Developers, Media, Accounts, etc.) to ensure cohesive team integration, and alignment with broader business objectives • Be a champion for digital innovation on every project you touch • Play an active role in campaign planning • Drive real-time optimisation of the digital work in partnership with strategy and media • Participate in pitches for new business • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Generate ideas and sell them into clients and other members of the team • Mock up creative ideas • Design across multiple channels • Consistently produce creative elements against a deliverables list • Brainstorming & conceptualisation • Lead the craft & design of an idea • Compile presentations for clients & new ways to present • Attend client briefings & workshops **OPERATION** **AL** **KPI’S** • Highly conceptual individual (Must show at least 5 projects) • Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking (Provide 2 examples) • Track record of leading the conceptualization and execution of digital campaigns (Show minimum of 4 examples) • Must demonstrate in-depth understanding of new and existing digital platforms • Must show an understanding of various programmes (Editing, recording etc.) • Won at international and local awards (i.e. Cannes, One Show, Loeries, Clios, Bookmarks etc.) • Must have at least 1 international and or 1 local gold medals **BUSINESS** **KPI’s** • Must be able to work on two sizable and one small size project at any one time. • Have the ability to attend every review on a project with new 3 ideas. • Must be comfortable running and overseeing projects independently. **Qualifications** • Good understanding of influencer, Mobile, Podcast, out-of-home, guerrilla, activations, and direct marketing • Must have 8+ years of experience • Great time management • Ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines • Adept problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills with ability to provide rationales for creative choices made • Strong presentation skills • In-depth working knowledge of existing and emerging technologies & platforms • A strong understanding of best practice interaction and visual design principles • A strong understanding of processes • Able to work with team members & delegate effectively • Understand the client’s business requirements; and how our services should be applied to solve business problems **Working knowledge of these tools** • Illustrator • Photoshop • Indesign • After Effects (Advantageous) • KeyNote / PowerPoint • Figma • Google Web Designer & DV360 (Advantageous) • Facebook Creative Hub (Advantageous) • Hype Tumult • The ability to read and understand analytics dashboards and data reports is expected, as these tools will help strengthen your creative output’s performance in the market, and you will be expected to help optimise the creative based on those insights and learnings, in real tim
