Raytheon's Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking a qualified Senior Diesel Generator Technician to join the Team. Supporting mission test operations domestically. The candidate will be involved in the beginning stages mission preparation and follow the mission through the completion by planning setting up mobile generators for field test environments. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance including PMCS/engine services and trouble shooting. Also supporting site layout and moving the equipment and assisting with the site setup and teardown.
**What You Will Do**
+ Be proactive in daily activities
+ Proactively identify and address tasks to support smooth workflow
+ Demonstrate initiative in executing daily responsibilities
+ Hire will be expected to obtain and maintain a U.S. State Issued Commercial Driver’s License
+ Operate power lifts to include but not limited to forklifts, personnel lifts and cranes
+ Operate power generators
+ Operate and maintain power generators; safely connect load cables to ensure reliable power distribution
+ Preventative maintenance of other fleet related vehicles and items
+ Logistics for site setup/movement coordinator
+ Assist with electrical set up
+ Aid in the installation of temporary and permanent electrical systems
+ Move office trailers to various sites
+ Relocate and position office trailers at various mission sites
+ Flexible and committed to working extended hours in extreme climates and weather conditions to ensure uninterrupted critical mission support.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with electrical power generation.
+ Experience with Diesel Engine operation.
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Experience with medium voltage generators
+ Familiarity with US Army Technical Manuals
+ Familiarity with VOLVO, Cummins, Caterpillar
+ Expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing unforeseen faults, failures, and system issues in field environments beyond scheduled maintenance activities.
+ Experience with instrumentation, and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer).

+ Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
