This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Position Overview We’re looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of automation, security, and identity. You’ll lead efforts to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the engineering team with operational assistance. Responsibilities Implement secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated applicationEmbed security scanning tools (Snyk, Checkov, Trivy) into build and deployment flowsCollaborate with product and security teams to align strategy with DevOps velocityMonitor and respond to IAM-related security events, misconfigurations, and anomaliesAct as a mentor and help lead the team to sucess Required Experience/Qualifications 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Security, or Engineering rolesDeep experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and cloud-native securityStrong understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and federation modelsProficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.)Excellent communication and collaboration skills Special Requirements/Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
