Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud Migration

UST is seeking a skilled and proven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead multiple cloud migration initiatives. This role demands a strategic and hands-on professional who can architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions to support the migration of client applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying resilient cloud solutions including Kubernetes clusters, databases, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless functions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, skill-building, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute successful application migrations from on-prem data centers to Microsoft Azure. Design cloud architecture with components such as Kubernetes, serverless computing, databases, and storage. Define and implement infrastructure reliability controls (monitoring, logging, security policies, etc.). Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for scalable and consistent deployments. Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy, architectural decisions, and cost optimization. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Monitor critical applications to ensure SLAs and performance standards are met. Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and integration issues. Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams. Assist in security implementation aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance.

Professional Qualifications:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in SRE roles, ideally with cloud migration and project leadership responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Relevant industry certifications in Cloud Architecture or Development (Azure preferred).
