Job Description

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Engineer to join our SRE Data & Analytics Core Data Lake Platform engineering team. We are searching for self-motivated candidates, who will use modern Agile and DevOps practices to craft, develop, test and deploy IT systems and applications, delivering global projects in multinational teams.  P&G Core Data Lake Platform is a central component of P&G data and analytics ecosystem. CDL Platform is used to deliver a broad scope of digital products and frameworks used by data engineers and business analysts. In this role you will have an opportunity to demonstrate data engineering abilities to deliver solutions enriching data cataloging and data discoverability for our users. With our approach to building solutions that would fit the scale P&G business is operating, we combine data engineering best practices with modern software engineering standards (Azure, DevOps, SRE) to deliver value for P&G. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a DevOps Engineer within our SRE team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines’ templates, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve our deployment processes, automate workflows, and supervise system health. Ensuring that development and architecture make sure established standards, including modern software engineering practices (CICD, Agile, DevOps) Collaborate with internal technical specialists and vendors to develop final product to improve overall engineering maturity, performance, efficiency and/or to enable adaptation of new business process.  Design, implement, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure. Develop and handle CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and reliability. Implement standard processes for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in cloud environments. Support engineering teams throughout its entire lifecycle from development, deployment, upgrade, and replacement/sunset Solve and resolve issues across the application stack, ensuring minimal downtime. Participate in incident response activities as part of the SRE team. 

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. Validated experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, particularly with Azure cloud services. Very strong practical knowledge of DevOps toolset - code repositories, deployment / test automation, static code analysis (Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube etc.)  Experience using modern software engineering practices (code standards, Gitflow, automated testing, CICD, DevOps) Experience working with: Azure, DevOps CI/CD, Terraform, Microsoft Azure DevOps, AKS, Databricks Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation purposes. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure CLI. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard processes, and cloud architecture. 

Skills: 

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

Strong written and verbal English interpersonal skills to influence others Consistent track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and within budget. Experience working in fast-paced, multifaceted environments. Demonstrated ability to prioritize simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and geographies  Experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
