Team Overview
Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) is a global team supporting the delivery of Quality Verification for all EA Game Development Studios.
We are looking for a visionary Senior Development Director to lead Quality Verification (QV) for FC Mobile and EA Shanghai. This leadership role demands operational excellence, strategic planning, and a relentless drive for innovation and continuous improvement. You will manage QV teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, by inspiring teams and driving transformative outcomes. Your expertise in change management will empower your teams to anticipate and exceed product and partner expectations, while building strong, productive relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders. This is a progressive and pivotal role with the opportunity to redefine how we deliver quality within FC Mobile portfolio.
This is a full-time, Hybrid position based in EA Shanghai office- work from home 1 day per week. The position reports directly to the Head of QV, East Asia.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership for all Shanghai QV and FC Mobile QV teams
Define project strategies and measurable goals, drive execution, and monitor progress
Collaborate closely with Development partners and key global stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation and change within the team and across partner groups
Leverage insights into existing development practices and frameworks to drive impactful process improvements and deliver measurable value and impact
Ensure predictability in delivery and manage project risks
Oversee financial planning, headcount, and operational execution
Serve as the QV representative for EA Shanghai with accountability for studio-wide decisions and direction
Qualifications
Leadership who drives collaboration and champions change
Strong mindset for innovation and continuous improvement
Influence cross-functional leaders and stakeholders, fostering alignment and driving collective decision-making to achieve impactful outcomes in engagement
Experience with project and change management
10+ years of leading experience in software/game development, quality verification, or related business operations
Proven track record managing cross-functional and remote teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills
