Senior Desktop Support Specialist
Johnson Service Group is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist for one of our clients in Bothell, WA, 6-month contract. This role is responsible for assisting users and resolving issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, including tablets, mobile devices, printers, and A/V equipment. The specialist will deliver both in-person and remote support, ensuring timely and accurate solutions in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions: Provide Level 1 and 2 support through service desk tickets, Slack, email, or in-person requests Document and manage requests in the ticketing system, meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues using effective diagnostic methods Configure, deploy, and maintain computer systems, applications, and related equipment Support Mac and Windows platforms in both office and laboratory settings Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users, including hardware setup and account provisioning Manage system imaging, application deployment, and software patching Participate in IT infrastructure projects and ensure adherence to security protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Perform identity and access management tasks, ensuring compliance with internal policies Provide remote support for the South San Francisco location. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a Service Desk or IT support role (Zendesk) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Strong technical expertise with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Exchange Online administration Proficiency in supporting both PC and Mac hardware/software Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and provide occasional evening/weekend support as needed Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple) are a plus Life Science experience are a plus  No weekend or after hours Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm (3 days per week at Bothell location, 1 day Seattle location, Fridays remote) ** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
