Job Description
As a Senior Design Manager in the production and adaptation space, you will lead a talented team of designers to create high-quality, compelling content for globally recognized brands. This role requires a combination of hands-on design skills and leadership abilities to ensure creative excellence across various touchpoints, including static graphics, motion graphics, digital content, and social media.
In this position, you'll guide and support your team to adapt and localize content for different markets, ensuring that all assets are produced to the highest standard. You will also leverage AI tools like Pencil Pro to streamline workflows and optimize the adaptation process. Your role is essential in ensuring the timely delivery of creative work that meets client needs while staying ahead of design trends.
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a design team, fostering collaboration and creativity to ensure high-quality work is consistently delivered.Regularly check in with designers to provide guidance, support, and feedback, helping them grow and excel in their work.Participate in project reviews with project teams to ensure that all creative work meets client expectations and adheres to the brief.Organize and lead weekly design huddles to maintain clear communication within the team and address any challenges.Collaborate with the Creative and Experience Network to align on creative strategies and goals.Oversee the production of both static and motion design assets for various digital channels, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and specifications.Use AI tools like Pencil Pro to streamline design workflows, helping the team produce and iterate on designs quickly and efficiently.Stay proficient in key design tools, including Figma as well as Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D tools like Blender a bonus.Collaborate with project managers and creative teams to ensure briefs are understood and executed correctly.Lead by example, contributing high-quality design work while also managing and mentoring the team.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.Keep the team informed about the latest trends in design, technology, and social media, encouraging a culture of innovation.Ensure that designs are adaptable for various platforms, especially social media and digital touchpoints, while maintaining brand consistency.Provide constructive feedback and revisions to the team, pushing the creative boundaries while staying aligned with client needs.Assist in localizing designs and adapting assets for different markets, ensuring consistency across global platforms.Keep projects organized and maintain efficient workflows, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.Present creative ideas and designs to internal teams, project leads, and clients, communicating clearly and confidently.Encourage feedback from the team and clients, making improvements to designs when necessary and ensuring the team remains open to evolving ideas.QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design, preferably within an agency or brand environment.Proven experience working with well-known global brands, adapting content for various markets.Strong proficiency in design software, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.Experience with motion design, video editing, and 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender) is a plus.Expertise in creating digital and social assets for global clients.Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and engaging visuals.Solid knowledge of social media and paid media design best practices.Creative problem solver, capable of pushing design boundaries and developing innovative solutions.Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.Strong communicator, able to clearly present design concepts and work with internal teams and clients.A keen eye for current design trends and technological innovations.Familiarity with AI-driven tools like Pencil Pro to optimize the design process and help produce high-quality assets quickly.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and creative inspiration.This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to take charge of a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working with top-tier global brands while leveraging innovative design tools like Pencil Pro to streamline workflows and enhance creative output.
