Senior Design Program Manager, Ads, CreativeX, Creative Studio
Description CreativeX is transforming how brands and creators bring their ideas to life. We are looking for a Senior UX Program Manager to help us scale and optimize the way our UX team delivers high-impact work across multiple product areas. In this role, you'll drive cross-functional alignment, streamline design delivery, and help cultivate an operational foundation that enables designers, researchers, writers, and UX engineers to thrive. Your key responsibilities will include capacity planning, balancing business cases, prioritization alignment, team engagement, governance, and communication processes. Your goal will be to create a seamless, efficient, and scalable design ecosystem that empowers our designers, researchers, writers, and UX engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will need to resolve resourcing gaps, anticipate and address bottlenecks, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop ongoing improvements. You will also be responsible for coordinating with partner teams across design, product, and technology to align expectations and are drive successful program delivery and outcomes. This is an ideal role for someone who excels at systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and building the connective tissue between people, process, and tools. Key job responsibilities - Drive operational excellence across UX initiatives, ensuring smooth handoffs, predictable delivery, and efficient workflows - Coordinate intake, prioritization, and resource planning across multiple designers and workstreams, balancing short-term asks with long-term goals. - Develop and refine guidelines for how design work is initiated, reviewed, and delivered - Engage with cross-functional partners to understand their needs and pain points and identify blockers, anticipate risks, and lead cross-team efforts to remove friction in the design and development process - Champion a culture of continuous improvement by documenting best practices and driving post-mortem and retrospective activities - Help track team bandwidth, resourcing gaps, and capacity signals in partnership with UX leadership About the team CreativeX is a nimble, interdisciplinary organization of engineers, scientists, designers, and researchers. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of design program management experience - Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (agile to waterfall) - Demonstrated ability to drive complex, multi-team initiatives from concept to delivery - Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience aligning stakeholders across disciplines - Ability to think both strategically and tactically—comfortable zooming in on the details while keeping the big picture in view - Experience optimizing workflows and systems for teams working across multiple initiatives Preferred Qualifications - Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management - Familiarity with UX disciplines, tools (Figma, Jira, Asana, etc.), and design-to-dev workflows - Passion for scaling design operations, nurturing team health, and building collaborative culture Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
