Job Overview:
A Mechanical Design Engineer with 5-8 years of experience is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components in various industries. The role requires an individual who has a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to real-world design problems. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept development to product launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements.Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications.Conduct feasibility studies, trade studies, and prototyping activities.Analyze and evaluate designs for strength, durability, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.Support production, testing, and validation of prototypes and final products.Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.Stay current with industry standards and regulations.Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5-8 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.Aerospace experience is a MUST haveProficiency in CAD software such as NX, of SolidWorks.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Good organizational and time management skills.Due to the nature of this role you must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card
Pay $80-$90K depending on experience
