Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive designs and management plans for sanitary sewerage and stormwater systems, including gravity sewers, force mains, storm drains, detention/retention facilities, and flood control measures.Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to simulate stormwater runoff, sewer flows, system capacities, and flooding or surcharge scenarios using standard tools.Perform site assessments and investigations to collect field data, evaluate existing sanitary and stormwater infrastructure, and identify areas for improvement or rehabilitation.Prepare engineering design drawings, technical reports, and documentation for sanitary and stormwater systems, ensuring compliance with applicable design standards and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sewerage and stormwater solutions into larger infrastructure, land development, or municipal projects.Support permitting efforts by ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations for wastewater and stormwater systems.Ensure all designs adhere to the company’s QA/QC processes and industry best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil engineering. Master’s degree in water resources engineering is a plus.5 to 8 years of progressive experience in the planning, modeling, and design of sewerage, drainage, and stormwater management systems for municipal or land development projects.Proven proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software, including SewerGEMS, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, and other industry-standard tools.Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D for preparing plans, profiles, and grading; familiarity with GIS platforms and BIM tools is an added advantage.Strong understanding of local and international sanitary sewer and stormwater design criteria, as well as applicable regulatory frameworks.Experience in the design of stormwater detention and retention systems.Demonstrated ability to prepare and review engineering reports, drainage studies, and technical specifications.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Proven capability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Additional Information
