Senior Design Engineer
Job Title: Principal Design Engineer

Job Description

Perform high-level engineering analysis and design of new and modified components in accordance with engineering standards and project scope. This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but requires a strong foundation in engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Conduct engineering analysis and design of components to meet project specifications.Collaborate with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources on technical issues.Travel to testing and research facilities as needed to ensure project success.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Creo and Windchill.Experience with a high-level CAD system.Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and related systems.Excellent verbal presentation skills.Proficiency in Excel and Macro.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering.3-plus years of related experience.An Associate's Degree may be considered with appropriate experience.

Work Environment

This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources. Travel may be required to McConnellsburg, PA for testing and to Greencastle, PA for R&D. The role offers a long-term opportunity with benefits such as 2 weeks of vacation and 10 paid holidays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
