Position Summary  The design engineer is responsible for mechanical design of clutch and hybrid drive module for Hybrid Transmissions such as P2, DHT etc. You will work in the multi-disciplined group to develop the clutch systems to satisfy customer requirements and internal test specifications. Essential Functions: + Develop the concept of Clutch & hybrid drive module in accordance with followings, + Define the proper material and tolerance. + Maintain part lists, drawings and other engineering documentation + Create and Review Drawings for prototype manufacturing. + Make sure performance meet customer specification + Consider and develop innovative Manufacturing concepts and processes + Coordination of mechanical simulations of mechanical designs and communicate with other cross function team, App Mechanical, EPMO, SQM, GSM, PQE, ME + Support SQM to develop suppliers capability to build your parts to print + Perform design optimization for functional improvement as well as cost reduction + Prepare and maintain part lists, drawings and other engineering documentation + Work closely with suppliers, customers, internal plants and abroad department to accomplish competitive designs + Preparation of presentation materials to present the design status. + Support cross function team for trouble shoot of product Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Abilities: + Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics engineering or similar(required) + Design experience for at least 3 working years(required) + Good knowledge of Hybrid transmission system, experienced in related development of key components like resolver, sensors, connectors and their system integration (required) + Familiar with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T, ISO Standards), experience in tolerance stack-up(required) + Substantiated knowledge in AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer (required) + Experience with working with Chinese Automotive OEM customers (preferred) + MS Office proficiency (required) + Excellent presentation skills (required) + English language proficiency (required) Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
