Position Summary  Work together with the global Transmission Systems Engineering organization in development of clutch and P2 hybrid drive module for Hybrid Transmissions. Responsible for designing clutch systems and mechatronic components according to customer requirements and internal product specifications. Essential Functions: + Develop new Clutch in Hybrid Transmission Application in accordance with BW Design Guidelines + Support to design P2 hybrid drive module for P2 Hybrid Transmissions + Work closely with Clutch and Friction Elements Homeroom and ensure that all design output complies with related instructions and guidelines + Maintain existing designs and support design updates for functional improvement as well as cost reduction + Being responsible for all design related items for a customer program + Being responsible for proper material and tolerance selection in accordance with product needs + Being responsible for tolerance calculation + Being responsible for meeting customer specification + Prepare and maintain part lists, drawings and other engineering documentation + Work closely with suppliers, customers, BW plants and DCC to accomplish competitive designs + Preparation of presentation materials Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Abilities: + Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics engineering or similar + Design experience for at least 3 working years + Good knowledge of Hybrid transmission system, experienced in related development of key components like resolver, sensors, connectors and their system integration + Substantiated knowledge in AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer + Experience with working with Chinese Automotive OEM customers (is a plus) + MS Office proficiency + Excellent presentation skills + English language proficiency Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
