At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position. **Job Summary** This role prepares, maintains and coordinates the drawing, revising, field checking and training of circuit prints, station and standard drawings, maps, charts and other drawings. Works with other department personnel to obtain and verify information needed to produce detailed drawings from designer and engineer sketches for circuit drawings and one-lines. Creates and updates drawings manually and through computer aided drafting system. Maintains computer aided drafting system in operational condition. Reviews sketches and drawings for compliance with company and state standards and current design practices. Advises and trains less experienced personnel and assigns, distributes and monitors work. Performs design activities to prepare complex construction drawings and material lists for mechanical, electrical and civil projects. Orders all drafting materials and maintains inventory. **Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience** The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following: + 5+ years of significant relevant experience in drafting and/or graphics. + Full knowledge of drafting principles. + Full knowledge of computer aided drafting. + Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical or civil principles. + Skills: reproduction equipment, mechanical drawing, computer graphics, verbal and written communication. + Abilities: analytical and abstract thinking, problem solving, process information quickly. **Education Requirements** Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: High school graduate, GED **Working Conditions** Cold Up to 25% Heat Up to 25% Loud Noise Up to 25% Office Work Environment 76 -100% Operating Machinery Up to 25% Outdoors Up to 25% Travel Up to 25% **Export Control** Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
