EXP is currently searching for a Senior Design Coordinator to work in our Toronto, ON office. 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Coordinate the activities of technical staff from project award through project completionApply knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple technical functionsCoordinate activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design issuesWork with multi-disciplinary teams to address technical issues within project time and budgetFacilitate communication between internal teams and external clients or partnersEnsure design consistency and quality across all outputs, adhering to corporate standards and contractual requirementsManage project schedules, track progress, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on trackReview and provide feedback on multi-disciplinary design work to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectationsMaintain documentation, including tracking, timelines, and status reportsSupport the development and implementation of design processes and best practices

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field3-5 years of experience in design coordination or project management role Strong understanding of design principles, processes, and tools Demonstrate experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects; experience with P3 (Public-Private Partnerships) and Design-Build (DB) models is a strong assetStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact well with others as well as develop and contribute to high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects and proposalsAttention to detail, highly organized, self-starter
