**Job Description**
Would you like to play a key role in decorating new LEGO® bricks with speed, effectiveness, and efficiency?
Here is a great opportunity to use your pre-press experience and graphic illustration skills as Decoration Engineer, when cooperating daily with Product Design organizations (designers), Equipment engineers, test center, production sites and other engineering departments, towards the goal of delivering world class decorations on LEGO® bricks!
No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Physical presence is required.
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Develop technical graphic solution for pad printing process (tampo print) according to novelty specification request from designteam.
+ Apply technical guidance and grahic input to make design and production requirements meet. · Decoration responsible for successful deliverables of novelty portfolio of around 20-30 novelty elements for decoration in different stages of development at a time.
+ Ensure close collaboration with Testcenter, Equipment Developers, Quality, Production sites and Designers.
+ Promote documented processes and analytical data-based approach and decision making
+ Leverage your graphic specialist knowledge and practical problem-solving methodology to gather collaboration partners and solve challenges together.
+ Challenge processes and procedures, and support the development of the current ways of developing decorations
+ In specific cases provide specialist support to various development projects in the area.

As a part of Processing Novelty Development, Decoration Development is responsible for maturing new Novelty Decorations and enabling processes for developing new opportunities within decoration capabilities. In Decoration Development, we want to enable and deliver high quality and innovative decorations ready on time for production to run first time through. We are continuously developing processes & capabilities for the graphic prepress and production process to efficiently match the customer and business requirements with a ONE Team spirit.
The team consist of 10 highly dedicated colleagues located in Billund, focused on delivering new novelty decorations alongside developing new graphic decoration processes to achieve even more opportunities for future decorations.
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Minumum 5-10 years experience in graphic prepress industry, combined with an education within Graphic Prepress, Product Design and Development, Design Engineer or similar engineering field.
+ Relevant educational background supporting Pad Printing (Tampo print) process, techniques and methods.
+ Experiences from manufacturing printing technologies. Preferable pad printing (Tampo print) industry but also other graphic printing industries are relevant · Work experience: 5+ years (not including school)
+ · Advanced Adobe Ilustrator skills · Microsoft Office package at advanced user level · Flair and desire for technical solutions and problem solving
+ · Relevant professional experience from a similar position
+ · Experience with decoration equipment either from a development role or a production support role
+ · Execution ability: Ability to work and communicate with a structured approach, handling many tasks at the same time.
+ Strives in an execution environment with many deadlines
+ Ability to balance “eye-for-the-detail” and working with deadlines
Hard & Soft skills:
+ Solid theoretical understanding of mechanics, technical design principles and materials.
+ Preferable experience in working with global manufacturing sites and production specialists
+ Great energy, drive and ability to self motivate. Strives to overcome technical challenges · Great eye for details
+ Flair for process improvements and documentation
+ Curious about manufacturing technologies, production principles and machine design in general
