We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage SAFe Agile methodology, SQL Developer, Jira, GitLab, and possess a Security+ certification to support our production systems. This role emphasizes database management, analysis, troubleshooting, and solutioning to ensure optimal performance and security of our database environments.

Opportunity:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions.Utilize SAFe Agile practices to deliver high-quality database features and enhancements.Ensure the security and integrity of database systems through best practices and Security+ certification.Contribute to the continuous improvement of database performance and reliability.Mentor junior developers and share expertise in Oracle database technologies.


Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle database schemas and structures.Implement and manage database security protocols in compliance with Security+ standards.Perform thorough database analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries.Utilize SQL Developer for database scripting, automation, and performance tuning.Manage database changes using GitLab/GitHub for version control and collaboration.Track and manage database-related tasks and projects in Jira.Conduct regular database health checks and troubleshooting to ensure system stability.Maintain comprehensive database documentation.- Develop and maParticipate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.-Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions seamlessly.Perform database backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery planning.Stay current with Oracle database updates, patches, and new features.Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Contribute to the development of database standards, guidelines, and best practices.The migration of databases to new environments or platforms as needed.- Assist in


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer.Proven experience with SAFe Agile methodology.Proficiency in SQL Developer for database scripting and management.Experience with Jira for task and project management.Strong understanding of GitLab for version control and collaboration.Security+ certification or equivalent.In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning.Experience with database security practices and compliance.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Desired:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Certification in Oracle Database Administration (OCP) or equivalent.Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
