The opportunity

Join EY’s fast-growing AI & Data team and help us build a better working world with data. We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can solve complex problems with data, create scalable machine learning solutions, and guide clients through their digital transformation journeys. Your key responsibilities 

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data-driven solutions in Azure. Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem framing to model implementation and monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, cloud architects, and domain experts. Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable insights. Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to EY’s internal knowledge base and best practices.

 

Skills and attributes for success 

Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and scripting. Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse). Solid understanding of ML concepts, statistics, and model evaluation techniques. Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and large-scale data processing. Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps in cloud environments is a strong plus. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles. Hands-on project experience deploying models in production environments using Azure. Business acumen and experience working with clients or in consulting settings. Proficiency in Danish

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience with other programming languages (e.g., R, SQL, Scala) or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or energy. Certifications in Azure Data Science or related cloud technologies.
