Rite-Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support onsite at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will be part of a team of experts charged with providing support in the areas of cyber analysis and cyber development capabilities in response to Navy's and DoD's needs for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense. You will have the opportunity to work and grow your expertise with a team of software engineering and cyber security experts working to tackle the cyber defense issues of the modern military with creative and innovative solutions.\n
The Role\n
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will use your expertise and experience in the following areas and activities to deliver solutions and services to our customer:\n\nAssemble large, complex sets of data to meet functional and other requirements\nBuild statistical models, test hypotheses, interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report on data findings\nBuild large language models to create classification algorithms, assess semantic similarity, and create summarization tools\nBuild requisite infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various sources\nPerform research on various data sources, to include unstructured data using quantitative and qualitative content analytics\nConstruct and perform complex database search queries in multiple databases using SQL, NoSQL, and API interfaces\nCurate and maintain data stored in support of metrics and evaluation\nAnalyze current data structure, tagging, and quality standards to discover and address anomalies\nInterpret results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools\n\n
Required Qualifications\/Skills:\n\nU.S. Citizenship and\u202fActive or Interim DoD SECRET clearance \/ TOP SECRET preferred\nActive CompTIA Security+ Certificate\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree (Or experience commensurate with the qualifications).\nMinimum 7 years' experience\nScripting experience (Python, R, Spark, and\/or SQL)\nStrong experience with data in various forms (data warehouses\/SQL, unstructured data)\nExperience in querying, analyzing and working with data languages and platforms\nCritical thinker and a team player.\nGood time-management skills and problem-solving skills.\nGreat interpersonal and communication skills.\n\n
Desired Skills\/Qualifications:\n\nExperience working with DoD customers.\nExperience working on cybersecurity projects.\n\n
