Description We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join our JP Seller Services team. Our mission is to help sellers grow and succeed on Amazon Marketplace through innovative products, technology, and data-driven solutions. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive substantial business impact at scale. As a key member of JP Seller Services, you will collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions through advanced analytics, ML modeling, and GenAI. You will develop recommendation systems for brand recruitment and product selection expansion strategies that directly influence the entire organization and seller base through scalable solutions. This requires both expertise in technical methodologies (GenAI, ML, Statistical Modeling) and strategic thinking to transform complex business dynamics into reproducible and scalable data solutions. Key job responsibilities (1) Develop and scale end-to-end recommendation models using GenAI/ML to identify brand recruitment and product selection expansion opportunities (2) Address critical seller challenges through prediction models and AI-driven reporting systems (3) Partner with stakeholders to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations for brand recruiting and product selection expansion Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience - 4+ years of data scientist experience - Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc. experience - Experience managing data pipelines - Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
