The data science engineer is responsible for developing automated tools and data products to enhance AI capabilities and designing efficient, business-friendly analytics solutions. They focus on creating scalable, self-service systems to support the AI team's expansion. Additionally, they leverage their extensive knowledge in data analytics and technology to educate and improve the skills of others.

Responsibilities include:

Provide data subject matter expertiseResponsible for understanding the systems & data environment.Research, explore, and tinker with new data design ideas and related technologies.Collaborate with internal/external data experts.Research & leverage technical documentation to gain a holistic understanding of the data domain.Support Analytics projectsWork with data scientists to transform business requests into value-add data products and capabilities. Work closely with business teams and data scientists to collaboratively assess, understand, improve, and deliver rich data content for analysis.Assist in the development the conceptual/logical data models or semantic layers with appropriate business contexts.Automate, re-build, and re-imagine data processes to increase efficiencies in business processes.Tactical support of project activities: data access, understanding, engineering, visualization, and decision making.Elevate data and analytics skills in the businessHelp businesspeople better understand the use of data and automation, drawing on a thorough understanding of and experience with technologies for intelligent automation, data modeling, data management, etc.Identify and guide natural data champions in the business to enhance the profitable use of data.Learn salient business concepts from data champions and enable them to creatively use data technologies.

Qualifications:

University degree in quantitative based field (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering).Advanced experience with databases.Advanced Experience in Python, SQL, Spark, C#, etc.Advanced Experience in automating data pipelines and working with data transformation tools.Advanced experience working with internal business contacts to develop analytical reports.Advanced experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and Data as a Service (DaaS).Experience providing data analysis to support management decisions.General knowledge of data analytics theory & application.Experience with analytics tools and visualization tools a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between

$104,860.00 USD - $194,740.00 USD
