Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Data Quantitative Analyst opening for our client in New York, NY. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Overview: Conducts complex statistical analysis to understand and quantify business problems. Creates materials to explain the business impact of quantitative analysis. Primary Responsibilities: Explore, mine, and profile data across multiple large complex datasets to gain and interpret insights for use in statistical and quantitative analytics. Modify data warehouses as necessary; document and store code to enable higher speed to impact. Mentor less experienced team members. Conduct complex data manipulation and analysis using common programming languages; consolidate results for business consumption with guidance from senior team members. Track and report performance of multiple portfolios/campaigns; identify deviations from expectations, explain variances, and explore interactions between interconnected portfolios. Perform complex quantitative analysis leveraging statistical methods to understand and quantify business problems. Develop simple visualizations to explore and explain data; draft exhibits and supporting materials for sharing analysis results with senior business leaders. Work with Data Visualization Analysts to develop interactive visualizations and dashboards. Understand and adhere to the company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the company's Risk Appetite. Identify, escalate, and mitigate risk-related issues. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the company brand. Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal/external audit points and issues raised by regulators, as applicable. Scope of Responsibilities: Works with large and complex datasets to perform advanced statistical analysis and uncover actionable insights. Supports multiple business portfolios or campaigns simultaneously, contributing to strategic decision-making across business lines. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: None Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field Minimum 5 years of hands-on SQL experience Proficiency in SAS and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis Education and Experience Preferred: Experience in the Financial Services industry Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications.
