Join Data Governance team that is responsible for ongoing growth and support of our Data Governance initiative. The team focuses both on the delivery of data governance programs, adoption in our company and also on exploration of new capabilities.

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role ensuring the quality of metadata management, cataloguing and data governance of our data across all domains, which will directly influence patients who use our life-saving products. You will be responsible for implementing data governance strategies and frameworks within the organization. This role involves gathering and analyzing project requirements, setting up and maintaining the Data Analytical Catalog (DAC) front end environment, and ensuring compliance with data governance best practices. The DGA collaborates closely with various teams, trains stakeholders, and participates in the implementation of new functionalities to support effective data management. Your core responsibilities:

Collect and analyze divisional requirements for effective data governance and cataloguing application

Communicate with divisional stakeholders to ensure alignment of data governance practices and cataloguing while focusing on user experience

Provide an implementation framework for cataloguing and data governance requirements and assign appropriate roles

Set up and maintain the Collibra DAC environment, including community and domain structure, views, diagrams, and dashboards

Implement metamodel changes through releases and facilitate ingestions from required source systems

Engage in tool maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure positive user experience

Train and support Metadata Stewards and other divisional stakeholders

Provide ad-hoc demos to stakeholders to enhance understanding and usage of data governance tools

Create and maintain DAC and data governance-related documentation, best practices, and training materials

Conduct impact analyses for integrated systems and ensure compliance with cataloguing and best practices

Analyze new connector implementation requirements

Inform about new DAC Collibra functionalities and updates

Design and develop workflows to help stewards and users with their cataloguing journey

Manage business and technical metadata in Collibra to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility

Design, implement and manage metamodel to enhance metadata quality and standardization

Develop and maintain standards for data quality metrics and monitor performance

You are ready if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Hands-on professional who has been in the technology industry for minimum 5–8 years in a data governance role

Proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities

Expertise in Metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes

Experience with AI stewardship and Governance of AI models

Proven experience in supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

Collibra Ranger Certification

Experience in Collibra workflow development

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting training sessions and doing demos to senior management

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, mainly excel

Fluent in English both spoken and written

Team spirit and cooperative nature

Nice to have, but not essential:

Understanding data quality management and experience in developing and maintaining standards

Understanding reference and master data management and governance

Advanced degree in a related field

Experience in Agile using JIRA

Experience in a research-intensive biopharmaceutical company

Groovy, SQL, HTML
