Senior Data Engineer - SQL

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources using MSBI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Write, test, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Leverage Python for data manipulation, automation, and custom script development to address data engineering challenges.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data models, and multidimensional cubes for comprehensive reporting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of data workflows and BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide necessary support.
• Ensure data security, consistency, and quality through the implementation of best practices and governance policies.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Mandatory expertise in MSBI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) with a proven track record of delivering business intelligence solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) for querying, optimizing, and managing relational databases.
• Solid hands-on experience with Python programming for data processing and automation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and database design.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of data pipelines and BI systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of the procurement domain and related data processes is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with cloud-based data engineering tools, such as Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
• Industry certifications in Data Engineering or related fields.
