Requirements:

Experienced Data Professional with strong SQL skills, focusing on data integration, quality, and performance. Proven ability to write complex SQL logic and optimize performance for large data volumes. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), with a preference for Fabric Data Factory over PaaS ADF. Familiarity with orchestration and ETL tools, such as Matillion, is a plus. Proficient in designing and implementing data flows using ADF, with experience in Python for enhancing ETL processes. Understanding of monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting principles, including restartability, idempotency, and debugging of ETL pipelines. Familiar with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD practices related to SQL and ETL tools. Exposure to public cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including components like Azure Blob Storage. Collaborate closely with business unit partners to transform requirements into effective data solutions, documenting processes and sharing knowledge with junior team members. Excellent communication and technical writing skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.

 

Good to Have:

Advanced Azure certifications. Strong analytical skills and experience in performance tuning.
