As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting raw data from our various systems, transforming that data into canonical models, and enhancing the data to provide trusted datasets to our consumers. PayMinimum \u2013 Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $100,700 - $136,000 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. More about youExtensive experience in End-to-End Agile Development Lifecycle, including technical specification and use case documentation like UML and ER Modeling Proficiency in SQL and query writing, with experience designing and developing solutions in modern programming languages such as Python Expertise in Databricks and SparkExpertise with RESTful Web Services and data persistence methods, including NoSQL and RDBMS including MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB Strong knowledge of data structures and formats like JSON, XML, and Parquet, and familiarity with data mapping and transformation techniques Significant experience in cloud computing, particularly AWS, focusing on event-based serverless architecture Experience handling large data sets and high-performance computing, with a focus on data integration projects and aligning data from disparate sources Proficiency with Unix and Linux, and experience in CI and CD best practices, including integration testing and automation using platforms like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo Additional skills in the Hadoop ecosystem, machine learning, and AI are advantageous, as well as the ability to effectively triage and track issues to resolution Who we are
