Senior Data Engineer

Our clients need flexible data structures and a streamlined data architecture that quickly turns data resources into informative, meaningful intelligence. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Data Engineer** with a strong background in **cloud-native data engineering** , **Python** , and **PySpark** to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle **complex data pipeline challenges** and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with **Palantir Foundry** is a significant plus, but the core interview focus will be on real-world coding expertise using **Python and PySpark** . **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using **PySpark** and **Python** in AWS based environments . + Solve complex data ingestion, transformation, and integration problems efficiently. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end data workflows and solutions. + Leverage **Palantir Foundry** for data modeling, ontology development, pipeline orchestration, and operational analytics (if experienced). + Develop and maintain reusable code libraries and data engineering best practices. + Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural discussions. **Technical Requirements:** + **8+ years** of total software/data engineering experience. + Strong command of **Python** programming for data processing, API integrations, and automation. + Hands-on expertise with **PySpark** and SparkSQL for handling large-scale distributed data. + Deep understanding of **cloud-based data architecture** . + Familiarity with data lakehouse or modern data stack paradigms. + Proficient in writing clean, production-ready code with unit tests and documentation. + Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control (e.g., Git). **Bonus Skills:** + **Palantir Foundry** development experience (Ontology, Code Repositories, Pipelines, Transformations). + Familiarity with Foundry APIs and operational use cases. + Experience in real time stream processing will be a big plus. **Salary and Other Compensation:** Application will be accepted until July 10, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $150,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
