Senior Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures using Databricks and Snowflake in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure).Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and pipelines to enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and storage.Document architecture designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design end-to-end data solutions that meet business needs.Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance the data ecosystemTroubleshoot and resolve data platform issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.Leads and mentors team members in following best practices to deliver high quality software.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on release management and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.10+ years of hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end data and analytics solutions, utilizing technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark for ETL, and proficient in data modeling methodologiesProficiency in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics & Experience with Databricks big data processing and analytics (Minimum of 5 years of experience.)Extensive end-to-end solutioning and implementation expertise, encompassing data lakes and Lakehouse architecturesIn-depth knowledge of big data concepts and technologies (Python / Spark)Experience in design and implementation of end-to-end data solutionsExperience in business intelligence, reporting, and/or delivery of modern visualization solutions (Tableau, Power BI)Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, implementation experience with multiple data sources & various data formats (Structured, Semi-Structured & Unstructured)

Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
