Senior Data Analytics Engineer
**Job Location: Canada (Hybrid)** **About the job you’re considering** As a Sr. Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making across the organization. By partnering with cross-functional teams, this role will develop and implement scalable data solutions, automate processes, and enhance productivity through innovative data tools and platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analytics and engineering to ensure high data integrity, reliability, and performance, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and success. Investigate, create, and implement the solutions for existing technical challenges. Provide guidance, instruction, direction, leadership to a development team with the purpose of achieving project goals. **Your role** + Obtains tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL), prepares functional and design specifications, approves them with all stakeholders. + Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives. + Develop frameworks and scalable processes to streamline reporting, drive decision-making, and build first-class scalable data platforms/tools to deliver data quickly, reliably, and accurately. + Implement automation solutions and explore/integrate AI capabilities into data tools and applications to enhance productivity and decision-making. + Be a strategic partner for the business: Identify opportunities and create solutions to automate and scale ad hoc requests. + Build and maintain robust data pipelines and data models using tools like SQL, Python, Airflow, ensuring high data integrity and performance. + Constantly improves his/her professional level. + Collaborates with other teams. **Your skills and experience** + Master's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field. + 5 years of experience in data analytics in a high-growth environment. + Ability to translate unstructured business problems into clearly defined requirements with minimal oversight. + Ability to build automation solutions to improve revenue efficiency and scale business processes. + Proficiency in SQL and Python and quantitative analysis; you can deep dive into large amounts of data, draw meaningful insights, dissect business issues, and draw actionable conclusions. + Must have experience with CRM tool Salesforce data operations automations. + Knowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code using terraform or any IAC tools. Deploying, monitoring, and maintaining applications/services in AWS. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level business problems. + Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and oral) with the ability to present findings and recommendations targeted to the audience in question. + Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust across functions and work collaboratively. + Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and experience developing processes to reduce human error. + Good understanding of development processes and best practices like engineering standards, code reviews, and testing. **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
