ResponsibilitiesServe as a domain expert in product data science, guiding best practices and advancing data science methodologies and operationsChampion evidence-based decision-making, making data and insights accessible and scalable for stakeholders at all levelsApply advanced data science techniques to analyze pre-defined KPIs by identifying what’s working, what’s not, and opportunities for improvementDevelop a deep understanding of enterprise data and operational details of the business (e.g., key datasets, business drivers/KPIs)Build predictive analytics models to forecast trends and early warning signals in key business areasAssist in wrangling data sets using Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau to discover patterns, correlate findings, and measure the impact on the business and key metricsPartner with and consult Professional Services sellers and sales leadership to provide accurate data/information and make recommendations for how to run the businessUse Tableau & SQL to create interactive and intuitive visualizationsAutomate manual reporting processes and improve data quality Basic Qualifications:4+ years of experience in data science, preferably in enterprise software4+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, data analysisBasic understanding of data modeling and relational databases like SnowflakeExperience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining data science products in cloud environmentsGood understanding of the data science project lifecycle and associated challenges at each stage of developmentExpertise in at least one programming language for data science (e.g., Python, R)Experience working with large-scale data technologies (e.g., Spark, Presto, Hive, Hadoop)Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets/ExcelStrong communication skills.
