The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Streaming Analytics vertical is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Commerce Experimentation & Analytics team focused on global commerce experimentation for Disney’s streaming service offerings (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN). This role will be instrumental in analyzing and optimizing payment methods, improving payment failure recovery, enhancing core payment processing, and mitigating subscriber fraud. The Senior Analyst will build strong relationships and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to implement innovative strategies and best practices to help guide business strategy and initiative prioritization.
**Responsibilities**
+ Partner closely with product and engineering teams to support end-to-end A/B experimentation including experimental design, power analysis, metric definition, data QA, and monitoring.
+ Communicate complex analyses and experiment results to a diverse range of business stakeholders, from operational teams to executive audiences, through both oral presentations and written reports.
+ Collaborate with Data Science to productionalize ML models used to proactively identify and mitigate subscriber fraud and reduce involuntary churn.
+ Create and maintain operational dashboards in Looker and Tableau to understand performance over time, enable efficient exploratory analysis, and equip partners with self-serve tools.
+ Understand the systems and business processes that populate critical systems with data and work to translate complex business questions into technical requirements.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience conducting strategic analyses used to inform product or business decision making.
+ 3+ years of proven hands-on experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests to draw conclusions used to inform business tactics.
+ Expert SQL skills and demonstrated ability to utilize many disparate data sources to solve complex business problems.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.
+ Expertise with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
+ Strong collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Experience working in the global billing, payments, and/or fraud domains.
+ Experience in the streaming media industry and/or supporting a direct-to-consumer or subscription-based product.
+ Experience in the technology industry and knowledge of how to build and implement data products.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles is $114,900 - $154,100 per year and in New York is $120,300 - $161,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
