Overview Razorfish is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Data and Analytics practice. This is an analytics, research, and consulting team that delivers data-driven insights to our clients. Each member of the team is aligned to one or more clients and works closely with other Data team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as: Client Management, Strategy, Search, Social, Media, User Experience, and Technology. In this role you will contribute to data-driven projects across one or more client accounts. You will have support from data leadership and fellow analysts. Core areas of focus for this group include applications in measurement planning and strategy, customer segmentations, testing frameworks, measurement and optimization solutions, performance reporting and analyses, personalization, and forecasting. Responsibilities Lead data analyst for internal and external client project work Represent Razorfish data capabilities and our vision for how data fits into a client's overall strategy Own elements of the data process such as syntax and taxonomy management, QA, reporting, dashboarding Organize and manage daily tasks and openly communicate progress with team members Participate in client presentations and discussions Desired Skills Data Strategy Ability to identify / focus on key issues and objectives based on internal and client needs with oversight Effectively describe outputs and approach to internal audiences and clients Communication Active listener and thoughtful communicator within internal and client discussions Raises questions based on data trends and patterns, explores hypothesis on causation Proactively identifies own knowledge gaps and seeks to answer them through internal resources or asking experts Client Engagement Ability to prioritize work with guidance to meet internal and external client expectations/deadlines Understand how to document client feedback and recognize when to escalate issues Tools & Techniques Assist in vendor assessments Comfortable working within BI/Visualization tools Analytics Planning and Implementation QA and maintain data integrity at collection, extraction, and activation point Maintain learning agendas and measurement plans as products or business questions change over time Run statistics for A/B testing program to determine significance of results Start and end a reporting deliverable with minimal guidance Insight Generation Demonstrates ability to synthesize implications ("so whats?") from analysis with minimal guidance Uses insights to provide hypotheses and useful recommendations to non-data team members Translate data into visuals (charts and graphs) that demonstrate key findings Qualifications 3-5+ years of industry experience in data science and marketing field Fluency in performance analytics: descriptive statistics, incrementality calculations, and statistical modeling/significance testing Advanced Excel skills with experience in manipulating and organizing large data sets Proficiency in one or more data science coding languages such as in SQL, Python and/or R Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform and services such as BigQuery, Looker, and DataProc Additional information The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
